About
Ariana Mullin is an interdisciplinary artist based in New York. From a young age she fell in love with performing, often stealing the mic at her grandmother's local VFW to serenade the bingo players with her rendition of Take Me Out To The Ball Game. From there, she became involved in the thriving community theater world of the Capital Region, where she is originally from. When she was 11 years old, she began dancing at Merritt Dance Center, a small studio in Schenectady, NY. The passionate training from Mara and Marlene Merritt stole her heart, and dance became her main focus.
Recently, she graduated from the University at Buffalo with a BFA in Dance and a BS in Exercise Science. During her time in Buffalo, she performed in many collegiate dance concerts, as well as dabbling in regional musicals, Shakespearean showcases, and fashion shows in her free time.
While studying at UB, Ariana had the opportunity to choreograph six staged dance works and two dance films. She is enthralled by the full immersion of creation, often building her own complementary sound scores, set designs, costumes, and makeup looks. She received recognition for Student Academic Excellence with her research in developing her piece, The Doctor Is In.

Ariana enjoys utilizing her skills in various art forms to create a full, encapsulating world and curate the most authentic representations of emotion. This involves blending of different dance styles, adapting other media forms to complement her choreography, and, in its simplest way, editing and redifining stylistic choices when performing.

Ariana is known for her energetic personality, attention to detail, quirky choreography, unique creative pursuits, contemplative research, and commitment to her art.
